The Mehlville Garden Club recently selected the home of Marsha and Tino DiFranco in the 6900 block of Lake Park Drive as its Yard of the Month. The home, on a corner lot at the entrance of Mackenzie Hills, features a beautiful backyard with many hanging baskets and an attractive front yard with perfectly placed begonias. Garden Club members also presented a State Beautification Citation to the homeowners. Mehlville Garden Club members recently presented the organization's Yard of the Month Award to John and Pamela Flatley of the 7100 block of Rock Hill Road and their landscape designer Tom Haegele. John and Pamela Flatley's striking front yard features plenty of pansies, including yellow pansies lining the circle driveway and purple, pink and white pansies outlining the front porch area and boundary corners of the yard.
