The Rev. Douglas W. “Pastor Doug’’ Madi, 41, died Jan. 31 at St. Anthony’s Medical Center.
Born in Perth Amboy, N.J., Rev. Madi resided in Oakville. He was a board member at Friendship Village South and member of South County First. He was a preaching instructor at Convenant Theological Seminary.
Survivors include his wife, Ginger Madi (nee Smiley); son, Jim Madi; daughters, Melody Madi and Christy Madi; mother, Elsie Madi; brother and sister-in-law, Daryl and Merry Madi; and sister and brother-in-law, Deborah and Anthony Petito. Rev. Madi was preceded in death by his father, Alexander Madi.
Services were at Faith Lutheran Church. Visitation was at Kutis South County Chapel. Burial was in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
