Mach selected vice president of Truman State University Board of Governors
May 04, 2005 - Ruth Mach of St. Louis was selected as vice president of the Truman State Univer-sity Board of Governors.
Mach recently retired after 20 years of service as principal of Meramec Elemen-tary School in the Clayton School District. She is now serving as an elementary assistant superintendent with the St. Louis Pub-lic Schools and working part time for the Clayton School District, serving as a specialist in the Human Resources Department.
A graduate of Truman State University, she earned her master's degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia and her doctorate from St. Louis University.
She served as an elementary principal for the Mehlville School District, and she previously taught in the Affton and Lindbergh school districts.
Mach is past president of the St. Louis Suburban Principals Association. Mach was appointed to the board in February 1995 and reappointed in January 2000.
She and her husband, Stan, have two sons.
Sarah Burkemper of Troy was selected as president and Randa Rawlins of Columbia was elected as secretary.
