Fellowships awarded to Kiwanis members Missouri-Arkansas District, Division 8 past Lt. Gov. Steve Dodson recently presented memberships in the George F. Hixson Fellowship to Sue Franey and Jeanne Crews of the South County Kiwanis Club. These honors are in recognition of their significant contributions to Kiwanis and their community. Kiwanis International is known for serving the children of the world, especially through its worldwide service project to try to eliminate Iodine Deficiency Disorder. IDD is the world's leading cause of preventable mental retardation in children. To date, Kiwanis International has raised more than $75 million in its campaign to eradicate IDD.
