A meat shoot will begin at noon at Oakville Elks No. 2726, 4261 Berghill Road.

The Freedom Masonic Temple, 4557 Lemay Ferry Road, will sponsor a chicken dinner, bakery booth, country store and used book sale from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The cost of the dinner is $7.50 for adults and $4 for children. For more information, call 892-5119.

Bethesda Evangelical Church, 85 Lemay Gardens Drive, will sponsor an "Eggs-stravaganza'' for children up to 12 years old from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Children will dye eggs, make crafts, hear stories and participate in an egg hunt.
