South Tech SkillsUSA boasts district medals

South Tech SkillsUSA students recently competed in its annual District Leadership and Skills Competition at North Technical High School. As a result of this event, about 30 of the 58 competitors earned medals, securing the right to compete at the state level this month at Linn Technical College in Linn. SkillsUSA is a nationwide student organization that promotes the technical programs of a technical secondary or post-secondary school. It works to foster the necessary workplace skills students need in order to become productive and responsible citizens.
