Ryan Murphy and Melissa Litty

Litty and Murphy announce their engagement, wedding


Melissa Litty, daughter of Ronald and Sharon Litty of Imperial, and Ryan Murphy, son of Richard and Maura Hicks and Michael Murphy of north county, announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

Litty is a 1997 graduate of Oakville Senior High School. She attended Forest Park Community College where she earned her degree of specialization in dental assisting. She currently is employed by Bankhead and Firth Orthodontics as an expanded function certified orthodontic assistant.

Her fiance, Murphy, is a 1996 graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas Mercy High School. He earned his associate's degree from ITT Technical Institute in computer networking. He currently is employed at Monsanto as a technical analyst.

The couple plan a May 15 wedding at Faith Lutheran Church in Oakville. A reception will be at Andre's West in Fenton.
