Crestwood candidates will meet at forum

Candidates vying for two seats — Ward 2 and Ward 3 — on the Crestwood Board of Aldermen in the April 6 election are scheduled to meet next week during a forum sponsored by the League of Women Voters and Call Newspapers.

The forum will take place at 7 p.m. Monday, March 15, at the Crestwood Community Center in Whitecliff Park.

In Ward 2, three candidates are seeking the seat currently held by Gary Vincent, who did not file for re-election.

Seeking the Ward 2 seat are: Dan Himebaugh, 1130 Tahiti, 63126; Jeffrey Schlink, 1228 Capri, 63126; and James Kelleher, 17 Jo Ann Place, 63126.

In Ward 3, incumbent Alderman Bernadine "Bernie'' Alexander is being challenged by Jerry Miguel, 7942 Camelot Lane, 63123.

Two other members of the Board of Aldermen — Richard Breeding of Ward 1 and Pat Duwe of Ward 4 — are unopposed in the April 6 election.
