'Grease' to be presented at Lindbergh
The Pink Ladies and the Burger Palace Boys will rock and roll their way to the Lindbergh High School stage next week in a fun-filled production of "Grease.''
The musical will be presented daily at 7 p.m. from Thursday, Feb. 26, to Saturday, Feb. 28, in the auditorium, 4900 S. Lindbergh Blvd.
The Lindbergh High School Players will rock back the clock to the rollicking 1950s. Danny Zuko — played by Josh Heffernan — leader of the Burger Palace Boys, and wholesome new girl, Sandy Dumbrowski — played by Bryanne Stotler — work out the problems of their mutual attraction.
The rest of the Burger Palace Boys played by Nathan Civili, Justin Bouckaert, Justin Krutewicz, and Tim Sanchez and the Pink Ladies played by Kathleen Weber, Jennye Stirlen, Jessica Luttrell, and Stephanie Heffernan rock and roll their way through drive-ins, pajama parties, high school hops, and other nostalgic scenes much to the aggravation of the cheerleaders, nerds, and teachers represented by Libby Regnier, Darren Amstutz and Corrine Zeller, respectively.
Comprised of a 40-member chorus of hubcap-stealing, hot-rod loving boys and their wisecracking girls in bobby sox and pedal pushers, Rydell High's spirited class of 1959 presents an event you don't want to miss.
Tickets are on sale now and cost $6 for adults and $5 for students and seniors. Reservations can be made by calling the box office recorder at 729-2410, Ext. 1536.
