Lindbergh students earn national honors
Sixteen Lindbergh High School seniors recently were honored by the National Merit Scholarship Corp., including nine who were named semifinalists in the 2004 Merit Scholarship Competition.

Semifinalists are selected from fewer than 1 percent of the nation's top high school seniors and will compete for Merit Scholarship awards this spring.

Seven students were named Commended Students in the National Merit Competition, placing among the top 5 percent of students who entered the Merit Program.
