A meat shoot will take place beginning at noon at Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2184, 6327 Lemay Ferry Road.

The Lemay Aces Athletic Association will sponsor a turkey shoot from noon to dark at the Sports Page Tavern, Old Route 3 in Columbia, Ill. For more information, call 487-6224.

A blood drive will take place from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Concord Trinity United Methodist Church, 5275 S. Lindbergh Blvd. Call 842-2060 to schedule an appointment or visit from 8 a.m. to noon.

The Affton Chamber of Commerce will sponsor its 7th annual Wurstmart from 1 to 6 p.m. at Orlando Gardens Banquet Center, 4300 Hoffmeister Ave. Cost is $10.95 for adults and $5 for children ages 4 to 9. Children under 4 eat free. Tickets may be purchased at the door. The music of the Waterloo German Band will be featured from 2 to 6 p.m. For information, call 984-8300.

St. Luke's United Methodist Church, 2761 Telegraph Road, will sponsor its annual benefit chicken dinner from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Parkhurst Multipurpose Building. Cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children ages 4 to 10. Children 3 and younger eat free.

A fall celebration will take place at the Concord Trinity United Methodist Church, 5275 S. Lindbergh Blvd. A carnival will take place in the fellowship hall from 5 to 7 p.m. and spaghetti dinners will be offered from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Dinners cost $5 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under.

THEOS, a self-help group for widowed men and women, will meet from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at Christ Memorial Lutheran Church, 9712 Tesson Ferry Road. For more information, call 631-0304.
