Offers a 'common-sense solution' for Prop P

To the editor:

It is truly a shame that so many good trees must needlessly be slaughtered to provide the newsprint for the Prop P discussions.

In spite of all the double-speak, misspeak and non-speak, no one has mentioned the only real common-sense solution. After all the projects have been completed and all the contingency funds have been liquidated, use the excess funds to retire the certificates of participation early.

The district gets its buildings, the taxpayers get a break, and good will reigns in the Mehlville School District.
