Lindbergh Schools honor a dozen leaders

Twelve Lindbergh School District residents and staff members have been selected as the 2003 Lindbergh Leaders.

Those selected will be honored for their leadership and service to Lindbergh School District and the community. They were nominated for going "above and beyond,'' and for their dedication to helping others.

The 2003 Lindbergh Leaders are: Mary Lou Anderson, counselor at Sappington Elementary; Tom Beauchamp, physical education teacher and football coach at Lindbergh high School; Barry, Board of Education treasurer, and Denise Cooper, parent volunteers; Tom Gose, social studies teacher and coach at Lindbergh High School; Alison London, kindergarten enrichment teacher at Affton-Lindbergh Early Childhood Education; Debra Sparks, parent volunteer; Zabelle Vartanian counselor at Kennerly Elementary, Board of Education director and Debbie Walk, parent volunteers; Katie Wesselschmidt, Board of Education director and parent volunteer; and Paul Yoder, Lindbergh High School English teacher.

The Lindbergh Leaders will be recognized at a banquet Friday, April 25, at Royale Orleans Banquet Center, 2801 Telegraph Road. The social hour will begin at 6 p.m. and the buffet dinner will follow at 7 p.m. Tickets to the banquet cost $20. Reservations can be made by calling Kathy Smith at 729-2400, Ext. 8621. The deadline for reservations is Monday, April 21.
