Lindbergh students to present spring play

Lindbergh students to present spring play

The Lindbergh High School auditorium will be transformed into a forest of love and liberation when students perform Wil-liam Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream'' with a 1960s twist.

The spring play will be presented at 7 p.m daily from today, May 1, through Saturday, May 3, in the auditorium, 4900 S. Lindbergh Blvd.

Using costumes and music from that free-spirited era, the production highlights the mixed-up antics of four runaway lovers played by Laura Meyer, a senior; Ashley Marting and Paul Goetz, juniors; and Paul Nauert, a sophomore. At the same time, a band of fairies headed by the quarreling fairy kind, Cole Mueth, a junior, and fairy queen, Mackenzie Wardle, a senior, are causing problems for a mismatched band of actors, especially the melodramatic lead player, Zac Studebaker, a junior, who un-dergoes a strange transformation.

Tickets are available at the door and cost $4 for students and $5 for adults.
