January 30, 2013 - Students at Buerkle Middle School are teaming up to help homeless teens in St. Louis and across the country by joining the 'Jeans for Teens' competition, which is sponsored by the Aeropostale clothing company. The school that collects the most jeans — new or used — wins a $10,000 prize from Aeropostale. Buerkle is hoping to have 4,000 pairs of blue jeans donated by the middle of February. All of the jeans donated locally and across the country will be given to homeless teenagers.
