Rotary Club donates 50 coats to Lindbergh Schools

April 03, 2013 - The Crestwood-Sunset Hills Rotary Club recently donated close to 50 winter coats and spring jackets to Lindbergh Schools, providing warmth for several students in need.

Lindbergh's Director of Assessments and Student Services Jill Lawson said that school secretaries, counselors and social workers helped identify students in need of winter gear. They then matched those boys and girls with one of the many coats or jackets, all of which were were brand-new items, according to a news release.

"Lindbergh is so fortunate to have service clubs that support our students and our community" Jim Simpson, Lindbergh superintendent and Rotarian, stated in the release. "We are thankful to the Rotary for their generous donations that is benefiting students in grades K-12."
