UPDATED: Ringer Road to reopen; will close Monday morning

March 20, 2013 - Ringer Road between Ringer Crossing Drive and Viento will reopen this afternoon — Thursday, March 28 — but will close again Monday morning, according to a St. Louis County new release.

The Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad is performing extensive repairs to its crossing on Ringer Road.

Ringer Road originally was scheduled to reopen Friday afternoon, but work is taking longer than projected. As a result, Ringer will close again Monday morning and is scheduled to reopen "sometime Tuesday evening," the release stated.

To circumvent the closure, motorists may use Patterson Road, Mehl, Lemay Ferry Road and Telegraph Road. For an overview of the area, refer to page 58, quadrant O33 in Wunnenberg's Street Guide, the release stated.
