Crestwood Police Department collecting items for veterans


December 05, 2012 - The Crestwood Police Department is collecting items for ill and injured United States veterans and service men and women who currently are at Jefferson Barracks Hospital.

Items needed include:

• Lap blankets

• Scarfs, gloves, knit hats

• Shirts (L, XL, XXL)

• Socks and slippers

• Sweatshirts (L, XL, XXL)

• Chapstick

• Sweatpants (L, XL, XXL)

• Combs, deodorant

• Puzzles

• Wii Games

• Popcorn tins

• Wii controllers and nunchuks

• Bags of candy

• Nintendo Wii

• Sugar-Free candy

• Portable DVD players

• Boxed chocolates canned nuts

• Cash donations for canteen (Hospital Café and Gift Shop)
